On January 14th, 2023, the Tangent Rural Fire District successfuly passed 5 individuals by the completion of an internal NFPA Firefighter 1 academy. Over the next few months, their skills will be refined till they are ready to demonstrate their compentency of skills to become state accredited firefighters.
